The SEO challenge that I conducted for my website SEO Tips 4 U was done to demonstrate to website owners and interested followers that top 10 search engine rankings are achievable by anyone and can be maintained by anyone.
You do not have to be a search engine optimization professional or a computer genius to reach the top 10 in the search engine rankings.
Achieving top 10 search engine rankings is about acquiring the right SEO knowledge, developing and honing the acquired SEO knowledge, developing an excellent website, creating a great SEO plan and having a little search engine good fortune.
In general, it takes a website six months to a year to have a good chance of achieving a top 10 search engine ranking for highly competitive keyword and/or keyword phrases in highly competitive niche markets.
Moreover, it can usually take anywhere between one to two years to reach the top 10 search engine rankings for highly competitive keyword and/or keyword phrases in ultra competitive niche markets such as real estate, travel and search engine optimization.
For less competitive niche markets the time required to reach a top 10 search engine ranking for keywords and/or keyword phrases can be as little as a few days to a few months depending on the search engines involved, the niche market competition and the quality of SEO work performed on websites.
Regarding my SEO challenge, I tried to achieve a top 10 search engine ranking within the search engine optimization market, which is a ultra competitive niche market.
Moreover,the keyword phrase,learn seo, which I am attempting to rank for is a highly competitive keyword phrase in the niche market.
A keyword phrase of this nature usually would take between six months to a year to have a reasonable chance to crack the top 10 search engine results in either Google, Yahoo or MSN.
However, for my SEO challenge, I only chose three months as the maximum time for the SEO challenge. My SEO challenge started on July 1st, 2007.
Therefore, I had only until September 30th, 2007 to achieve a top 10 search ranking for the keyword phrase "learn seo" in one of the search engines I selected for the challenge.
This made achieving a top 10 search engine ranking very difficult during the specified timeframe; but it was not impossible.
Take the time to follow my attempt to achieve a top 10 search engine ranking in either Google, Yahoo or MSN for the keyword phrase “learn seo”.
I am not an SEO professional. This would seem to place me at a serious disadvantage on all fronts and make the likelihood of me achieving a top 10 search engine ranking for the keyword phrase “learn seo” within the search engine optimization niche market very remote.
A top 10 search engine ranking for me in this situation gives us all hope for achieving top 10 search engine rankings, even in ultra competitive niche markets like search engine optimization.
